Our take
A number-chain puzzle with a Halloween map. You link neighbouring monsters whose numbers are equal or one apart, and long chains turn into bombs and combos.
How to play
- Drag across neighbouring monsters. Each link must be the same number or one apart (for example 3-3-4-5-4). Release to clear the chain.
- On a keyboard you can move with the arrows or WASD and press Enter to link, but dragging with the mouse is faster.
- Clear the obstacles each stage asks for: monsters can be trapped in webs, chains, tombstones and armour. Every 10th stage is a boss.
Tips
- Look for chains that go up and back down, like 2-3-4-3-2. The one-apart rule lets you zig-zag through the board, so long chains are easier to find than they first look.
- Long chains create pumpkin bombs, lightning and a wild ghost. Set them up next to each other so they go off together.
- If you're stuck, H shows a hint and R shuffles the board. Use them before you run out of moves, not after.
- Pick up the nightly gift and daily missions each session. They pay for the upgrades and the five unlockable monster heroes.
Who it's for
Puzzle players who like match-3 but want more planning. It runs in portrait and plays well on phones.
